Day 6
Slow start to the day but got brunch at Radical in Sorrento. Everything is pink.
We thought we were ordering a single pancake, turns out it was a huge stack. Language barrier strikes again.
Even the bathrooms
Lemon shop / stand with cooking classes and tons of lemon trees. This was on the outskirts of the city center and had a large parking lot where every car was under the shade of lemon trees.
Don't really know what this was but it was cool
Small local jewelry shop that specializes in Sorrento coral pieces. The owner told us all about the process of taking coral and turning them into coricelli. Wearing them as a necklace is meant to protect against bad luck.
Stopped for pastries at Mario's. We ended up hitting Mario's up twice - one for Gelato and again for pastries.
finished off Sorrento with an insane kebab
Sorrento was cute and had great food but the rain shrank the already small town. We found ourselves just doing laps around the city center to get steps in and have something to do.
With better weather we would've taken the ferry to Capris or done a hike, but with rain we didn't have much to do other than eat and drink.
There's a dearth of good coffee in this town. We both ditched espresso shots, each at different places.
