Started off with breakfast at a place we found out was intentionally designed to make Americans feel at home (Rooster Cafe) then went to the Duomo and started hitting museums.
Renaissance era oil paintings had crazy depth of color (obviously some of these are post-restoration)

This thing is MASSIVE in person. I don't think I had any idea how huge it was.
The view from Ponte Vecchio - a historic bridge with tons of jewelers.
Mari maybe found a bag?
Dinner at Buca Mario. We over-ordered assuming the "T-bone steak for one" would be a reasonable size. Ended up taking home most of the steak.
The food was amazing - burrata always good. Lasagna was incredibly rich, didn't taste much like tomatoes, salmon and mashed potatoes were solid. The Florentine steak was next level. It's served rare only but the flavor was unlike any steak I've had before. Perfectly cooked to bring out the flavor of the meat.
Also we found a shop right off the Duomo with some magic cards but they were unfortunately very overpriced.
